MANILA GALLEON TRADE

Hi All,

My name is Bill was born in the Philippines and migrated to the United States of America in 1981. I have a wife and 2 beautiful girls that don't have interest of collecting coins. I have been working in the semiconductor industry since my arrival, and continue to work in the industry at INTEL as a technician.

As I was growing up, collecting coins was not my hobby until the year of 2005. My very first purchased was the 1903 5 centavos proof (raw). I continue to purchase coins through eBay and local coin shows then submitted all accumulated coins to PCGS. Some came back body bags but I did not stop instead I study how this third party grading company grades these coins. I have too many different grades certified by PCGS and NGC and study them and apply that knowledge when i'm buying coins. I did not realized how much coins are in my inventories until one day when I registered to PCGS Registry and added these coins. The next thing I know I completed the 10 centavos set and then got it pedigreed to "Jetblack" BERANIA and currently upgrading. The same thing with the PROOF from 1/2 centavo to Peso(1903-1908) these are complete as well and pedigreed to the same name. Right now my entire US-PHIL collection is about 95% complete.

I am more interested in completing this series specially the key dates in high grade. I also collect MODERN PHILIPPINES coins (GOLD and SILVER).  Complete set of  Platinum proof American Eagle ($10.00-$100.00) and some US coins basic type set and others.
